13b WW2 Army Jeep
I figured since i just rolled over the 3,000 mile mark on this swap it can be considered a success. Last november I picked up a pair of rx7's and a spare engine. I mixed a few bits together and created this thing... I have done a few diesel swaps but wanted something different this time. Everyone in my jeep groups said it was a dumb idea and it wouldn't work. that made me want to do it more. The only comparable builds i could find were rotary samurais. but most of them were poorly documented and almost all were 2wd. For me this build had to be 4wd and maintain the appearance and driving characteristics of a mostly stock willys jeep. Below are the details. I've had this thing on red and black rated off road trails. Its done a little rock crawling... some small road trips and been my grocery getter. its been reliable and fun. It has far exceeded my expectations and proved the haters wrong. I have tons of pictures and videos of this swap. let me know what you want to see. Thanks for looking!
