I finally have my Starlet, many other parts to start my engine swap, I do have the plenty knowledge on welding and mechanic skill to swap a V-8 with carb…"I no longer have love for piston"...... On February I will get the RX7 FC 3S 13B S5 Turbo, Complete with ECU cable coils radiator sensors and other parts for the same year 1989 to complete the Engine Swap.... YES, Swapping from 1.3L TOYOTA "PISTON" to 1.3L "ROTARY" LoL

I do want to keep it fuel injection, I am aware that converting it to Carburetor will be easy and less complicated, but this will be the last option.

I do want to use the factory ECU for the moment; I do not to spend money in a programmable computer and computer tune up yet.....

any help, any previous experience on set this up will be appreciate,

any diagram to bring my ECU alive,

any previous threads

any from any forum

any link to download the cable color codes

any to start from

Anyone that have the basic 101 Knowledge in ECU ...please pass it down...

there isnt much to worry about really...place the engine in car....run your stock harness and find a good location in your cabin to mount the ecu...

make sure you have a good power source and goround the ecu to body...now as long as you dont mix and match parts from different years everything should plug right in...make sure you get a wire diagram for ECU power and ground I dont have any on me...you can try a parts place such as advanced or autozone they may be able to print out something...

you will need everything related to your engine such as inj. and boost sensor, MAF sensor...needs to all pluggedd in but you dont have to have emmissionsa in to run car............hope this helps a bit....
