Re: rx7 question
If the car turned off on its own, it could be a number of things. Does it crank at least?
Otherwise, start with basics...: ...if it sat around a while till you got the hose and coolant back in, then it could be the battery. ...Water and electronics don't mix either, so check your fuses and connections. If water got on any grounds, I would clean them off. Not likely to mess anything up really, but peace of mind. ...If those check out, then you need to check the 3 basics: timing/compression, spark, and fuel. Check spark by pulling a plug, holding it against the engine (use rubber gloves and hold it from the wire, you want the metal part against metal on the engine), and crank. If you got spark, check fuel (you can spray starter/carb fluid in and see if it cranks with that), and...well I don't really know how to check timing on a rotary. I would look that up. |

Re: rx7 question
You many want to investigate why the hose blew off in the first place. It may have something to do with why it won't start now.

Re: rx7 question
Have you tried de-flooding it?
Though, I'm assuming by "won't fire" you mean the starter turns, but it's not starting. |
Re: rx7 question
