I use a specialty lapping shop, just so happens RA uses the same outfit to finish lap their seals

Any reports on your opinions on the RA's in progress?

Any reputable machine shop can lap irons for you, doesn't necessarily need to be a rotary specific shop..

what's the average cost of having it done?

Do a search and you can find our results with blanchard grinding. I've had two local shops do irons for me. Good, consistent results at one with a surface measured at 50% smoother than a brand new stock iron. The other shop not so good. Paul Yaw actually recommends grinding over lapping. He hand laps his irons for finish after grinding.

I can take care of it if you plan on shipping it out..

What are irons? Is that the front/int/rear plates?
