so my neighbors got a 10ae, mild port, hybrid, old style greddy front mount, RB turbo back, with a cat, 720cc secondaries.

car runs great @15psi. it been running like that for 6months.

i think any further mods wont be to inrease power, but add a saftey margin.

but what would add saftey?

Cat delete or water-meth foolio

What ECU, or did I miss it?

Chemical Intercooling for sure!

Wrapping the exhaust is a good way to ruin a perfectly good exhaust. The transfer of heat from the exhaust to the air keeps the temperature of the exhaust within its mechanical limits. When you remove the ability yo transfer heat, the piping soaks up the heat, possibly to the point of heat related failure, given the high EGT's of a rotary.

Esp with a front mount, ducting is very important to make sure the radiator gets enough air to be able to cool the engine. A bigger radiator is a good choice too, but even the biggest radiator will be useless if it cant get enough air to cool the engine.

Porting the manifolds(intake and exhaust) will increase the efficiency a bit, helping HP and response.

Dont know if he has an intake or what, but a good cold air intake will lower the charge temps. The cooler the air is to start with, the cooler it will be when the turbo is done compressing it.

Ignition? I noticed a bit better gas mileage, and maybe some throttle response from a CDI on the leading plugs.

actually he kinda does have a cold air intake, turns out one of the s4 brake ducts fits perfectly in the radiator opening, and ends right by the side of the radiator.

its not big, 4"x2"? but its better than nothing
