I don't know anything about it, would 2mm be best way to go or 3mm? I don't plan on modding it out any time soon, but if I have extra money I would like to, would like reliability and decent life out of the engine, but also upgradeability if funds come around. the engine is just getting a streetport (not huge but not small either) and a carb, should be enough fun for the daily driver.
are there any down falls with the 2mm vs. 3mm seals? which would be better for reliability? |
all the 74-85 12a's are 3mm

Hmm, ok. thanks. was just wondering which to use cause I'm getting a price quote to get it rebuilt and they sent me a email asking 2mm or 3mm seals.

They wanna know how much to rip you off.

ive heard good things about the atkins seals for a 12a
|
Well, its dragonms.com that asked me which ones I wanted in a e-mail they sent me. Should I ask them how much of a price difference would be between 2mm and 3mm when they respond to me?
