I'm having a hard time decideing what type of port to go with for my new motor. I had a fairly big streetport before but the builder ported it to far back and the coner seal was falling into the port. Not only that but all the ports where different sizes, so tuning the air fuel ratio was impossable.

Anywho, I now have new intermediates and a fresh start. I'll put a list of my mods at the bottom of the page. Basicly, I'd like to get your imput as to what I should go with. I need something relaible. I'm only shooting for around 400-450 hp, but have been told I can make more than that with the turbo i have.

Thanks, Chris

Half-bridgeport on top of a street port and let me do the porting and assembly if you'd like. I've done a number of these and they run very well. Your setup, with the FPR, pump change, haltech, injectors, and turbo, is ripe for the half-bp job. You'll like the idle lope and other noises the motor makes yet will still retain low-end streetability. It's very good for the 60-1 turbo; it might even make it too small. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

If you want to port it for free, i'm all for it https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png I trying not to spend a whole lot of money, I've already have over 4k in this motor and turbo setup.

How long will a half bp hold up? I dont know that much about it.

Yeah, let BDC do the porting, or Ito. It seems like there are only a few people out there who really know how to port correctly any more!

I can't do port work for free; it's part of my bread and butter unfortunately. The half-BP I do for street-driven turbo cars should honestly last quite a long time. It's not very aggressive; it adds a bit more 'edge' to the motor and gives you the nice, raunchy idle that BP motors give. It's still streetable. It's an attention getter; with your setup, you'd be able to run it nicely.

i didn't really think i'd get anything for free https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png How much do you charge for a half bp? If its affordable, I might consider it, but I'm a typical broke ass college student.

I'm thinking of just going with a large streetport again, mainly cause I can do it with little to no expence. it doesn't idle as cool but it gave me pretty decent power at 8psi with that 60-1. Of course 8psi was all i got before it blew up.
