Do I need to use rtv on the timing cover seal for my 94fd?
Yeah, I would
yes, and tighten the bolts. let the goop dry completely, you dont want to have to do that job again

Don't forget the o-ring
Its all on and I didnt forget the o-ring https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif Its funny people told me how hard this job would be. I would encourage anyone who is self dependant and likes doing this kinda work to tackle it. The more you work on your rotary the easier it gets to understand and rebuild them.

He's talking about the front cover. When you took the main pulley off did you make sure your thrust bearing didn't fall down before you reinstalled it?

Thrust bearing is in place https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif
