Only downsides I could see is reduced oil to the eshaft if you dont bump up pressure. |
Hmm, I think i heard that a car on a track smoked alot becuase of this system and it didn't work correctly. Switch backed to stock and it performed better with premix.

that looks TERRIBLE.... keep in mind their apex seals suck too!
|
Interesting. As much cool factor Hurley has, with all I've heard I'm beginning not to like them.
|
that looks stupid...honestly..you are losing e shaft oil for something that will make a motor last 180k miles instead of 150k..so to speak..i have also heard nothing good about their apex seals
|
how do you keep the combustion pressure from backing down the same way into the e shaft. this bypasses the oil seals on the side? Just recalling i may have forgot something.
|
I think it's a good idea in theory but thats about it..
I don't think it would cause any oil pressure loss to the e-shaft/engine. Think about it, it would have to pass a lot of oil to cause any pressure drop. If it passed a lot of oil the engine would smoke like a mother. |
We have to keep in mind that it is a british company. I give the british a :bigthumg: for thier piston sports cars, but the rotary stuff should be left to the jap. and americans.

yah, i like my tr3 :bigthumg:

give an englishman a piece of metal...and he'll do some thing stupid with it! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png
like banjo fittings on the bottom of an oil sump...EXTRA leakage to blind the people chasing you |
