I have been reading quite a bit about squaring the port closing on the intake ports. I understand the concept, but read in the porting thread about Judge Ito's ports and how they are pretty squared off. I was wondering if anybody had any pictures of this and even more documentation.

Judge Ito, Would you mind posting some pics of these "squared" ports?

This is someone else's work. He didn't align the square edge in such a way to close the port abruptly, which is the entire purpose of "squared ports" as brought up by this thread's original poster. I'm sure the creator of this port did it this way to give it a gradual closing for a more broad power band. You need to properly align the top of the port so it is exactly lined up with the edge of the rotor if you want to see the gains of abrupt closing ports, but everything is a trade-off and abrupt closing ports are like porting in general: more top end power with less midrange and low end.

Here's the one I did for my S4 NA primary. For as large as it looks, it is actually a pretty torquey port. I'm surprised. I didn't lose any low end compared to my stock ports but gained a ton of midrange power. I haven't taken the beast up past 5000 yet because it's new, but my secondary and sixth port are shown in my sig.
