when stacking a motor, which sealant do you guys use to seal the iron to the rotor housing?



what would be the blue region in these pics

has anyone used hylomar with no ill results?

i use the factory mazda goop there 8527-77-739, but any silicon works there, theres no pressure

hylomar is non hardening, so that's why i was concerned...



i saw BDC doing it so i figured it was o-k

hylomar is prolly fine (ive never used it at all), in fact as long as theres something there it will prolly be ok

Yes, Hylomar works quite well for that job. It's a gasket dressing; it's designed for that type of application.
