has anyone put rx8 rotors into an FC block....TII S5? im looking to rpoduce a moderitly high powered N/A 2ng gen and wanna know if this is even worth the money. or just get some 9.7 from a 89-91 2nd gen. also...if i swap the rotors, do i need the counter weights an e-shaft? is the rx-8 e-shaft stronger? thanks

$ vs. $

S5n/a > Renesis

...due to machining costs and the almost nothing performance difference...

as far as i know the 13bmsp rotors will work but you will need the counterweights to go with them.

s5 na 9.7 rotors or 13bmsp 10.0 rotors hmmmmmmm interesting.

Hahaha....this is exactly the same setup I'm planning to get around to someday.

T2 4 port irons with the Renisis 10:1 rotors, counterweights and stationary gears. I think it'd be a great motor for nitrous....

Why? Is high compression better for nitrous.

Well not exactly, just saying that having a motor setup like that in the first place could produce over 200whp.

Nitrous would just make it FUN!

to me...the .3 compression difference isnt that big of a deal. but very nice. why im interested is there lighter and belive it or not, less exspensive. i am also using a FD upper IM with TII lower IM. just to add. I need to know if i need to use the rx-8 E-shaft and counter weihgts or can i use the stock ones in the TII set-up. if there not interchangable, well then....i'll be sending the s5 rotors out for lightening and going with that. either way. it'll be a nice daily driver/honda killer N/A set up. I hope anyway.

they'll fit, but you have to use the counterweights (which you already know about), and the e-shaft too.

and either don't spin it very fast, or machine the rotors to take the earlier apex seals. the renesis apex seals don't like peripheral ports.
