Has anyone made or thought of making a degree wheel specific to rotary engines?
|
I have never sen one "specifically" for rotarys. But V8 ones seem to work just fine. I'm sure theres a market for this. You planning on doing this?
|
I thought about it but not sure I could do it so it's cost effective.

The Mr. Gasket 11" degree wheel is only 32 bucks i think. Its commonly used. If you buy material in bulk and already have the equipment to make it, You could match or beat that price. Even if you charge slightly more, theres a market for one if it comes with instructions and easy set-up for newbies...

i actually have a friend right now that would die for this ...
he bought a motor and it didnt come with a pulley so we dont know where the hell tdc is . sentwo where do you get this mr gasket degree wheel you speak of? |
I don't have it, but you can get it from just about anywhere.Look for a thread that Lynn E. Hanover wrote on how-to use one.
I think Jegs, Summit, or pretty much any parts supplier should carry one.It would be cool to have a "rotary specific" one though. Something that says Mazda on it. |
