Hi all.

Which way would you go? Would you use a Rotary Aviation overhaull kit or Go the Expencive Route and buy all Mazda oe gaskets etc?

Has anyone had any problems with the RA kits? I've done a search and its said the seals are sligtly tighter than Stock but is there any reason the Mazda Gaskets etc are better?

Also Is using gasket sealer better on Oil pans and ft covers than a mazda Gasket?

Cheers...

Streetmotor - racemotor - N/A - turbo ?

I have used RA seals in a non turbo streetmotor with great results, fast break-in.

I normally use the full kit from Atkins. Good price and quality product.

RA kits work great. I actually have one for sale (for cheap) if you need one. Use gasket sealer. The mazda oil pan gasket I thought was discontinued?

Sorry, It's for a street FD with a Extended Port, Power Fc etc but still running Twins (if that makes a diffrence)

I would expect the Power to be around Mid 300's nothing massive.

Yeah.. I just bought a blown JDM 13BT, And I to need some advise on rebuild kits. I have looked at the Rotaryaviation kit,

the atkinsrotary kits

the rotorsportsracing kits, and

the rx7 specialties kits..

The kit from Rotaryaviation is in "my" price range but the RA apex seals seem "iffy" ( I plan on running 12-15 PSI of boost) The apex seals in the rotorsportsracing kit impress me but they are a bit spendy..

I need your guys help..Who makes the best kit for a street ported turbo(12-15PSI) 13BT.
