Hey,

Yea so I'm in the process of preparing the motor to go into my 89 t2. I have the Racing Beat 80psi OPR and for the first time sinc ei bought it (like 2 years ago) i actually looked at it today. What do I use the big nut for? is that to adjust the pressure? If so where's the best place for it to wind up? I have a big street port, t78, straight exhaust, no emissions, eshaft pellet i believe, no p/s no a/c, wolf 3d v4 standalone, bla bla bla.

seriously it was the first time ive been stumped on something that im sure is really easy lol. just dont wanna **** up this late in the game https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.gif.

If the you are talking about the pressure relief valve that screws into the bottom of the rear iron, then the loose nut is to jam the valve once you screw the valve into the hole in the iron. Screw in the valve with the nut screwed onto the valve as far as it will go. Screw the valve into the iron as far as it will go with just your hand. run the nut back out and jam it against the iron and tighten it very well. Use a wrench and about 45 pounds of torque. All of the pressure control stuff is inside the thing. Nothing outside to change anything.
