I was wondering if anyone could tell me what counter weights to use for this setup.

Thanks

You're safest option is S4 front and rear CW AND having the whole rotating assembly balanced

Here is an example of how much weight needed to be added to balance out my S5 NA rotating assembly.

i agree with John. you 2nd best option is to get the s4 front and rear counterweights and make sure to get the matching set of rotors. they won't be exactly the same weight but will be close enough to run. what are your plans with this engine? will you need to be in high rpm ranges?

My plans are to run about 15psi on the street and more at the track. I have all of the supporting mods for it but just have heard some good things about the older turbo rotors. I dont plan on taking it any higher then 7.5-8k.

Balancing the rotating assembly is $450 + shipping.

I need to do an experiment, where I will take a stock assembly from a car and show it on the stand being spum up

if you use the s4 front counterweight, make sure you swap out your needle bearings, spacer, and other crap for fc style. they're smaller. if you don't, you'll just start grinding stuff away and the motor won't last very long.

by stock do u mean the way it come out of mazda or rebuilt, often enouf the parts get replaced and the motors are not as balanced. i noticed a lot of peopel dont knwo the diffrence between the s4 and the s5 counterweights, from having various rebuilt engines taken appart.
