hey guys I was wondering what all I'll have to change when I street port my engine.

I have an 87tII with stock fuel sys. I'm running an fcd and walbro 255 pump and injectors flow @560cc (according to rc engineering). corksport 80mm exhaust, cai mod, tb mod, and ported wastegate s5 turbo. My biggest concern is whith the additional air the streetport will bring my injectors may not be enough. what are the limits of the stock injectors and turbo??? will this work?? or do I need to save up for anapexi safc and bigger injectors???

I'm very poor so I'm trying to get away with as much as possible without forking over big bucks.

Not a big fan of porting myself, but 550cc are a go set for most applications. I would suggest that they most important things to get are an efficent turbo (Garrett is the best hands down) and larger interccoler. It not how much fuel and air you put in the engine but how you put it in.

BUT thats just me being a cheap ass about $ per HP gain.

any ways go to a local Boarders Book's get a turbo/supercharger book in the car section. In it they will have equeations on engine displacemnt , CFM, injectors size, and which turbo is best for you applications. You will probaly read it once and scratch your head and read it again get what the book is talking about.

don't GO BIG , Go effective/efficent

good luck

the stock injectors seem to max out right around the time the stock turbo does, but it wouldn't hurt to bump the secondaries up a nitch or two.

just keep in mind that your turbo is your limiting factor. if your motor is blown anyway, may as well port it when you rebuild, but you'd get more performance from a bigger turbo--rather than porting.

well, my personal thoughts on the issue - and that's all they are, so take it for what it's worth - i don't like running near the ragged edge of fuel injectors, so i would probably upgrade those, at least the secondaries.
