Should I be porting the primary intake on my motor build? The motor is ported with Rb street port template. From what I've read, porting the primary would result in a weaker low end but a stronger top end. I'm looking to get between 250 and 300 hp, should I port the primary? This car has to be versatile because I drive it a few times a week. Any opinions?

Port the primary inlets.

if anything, it should be the primary that must get ported.

From my experience I would have to say port the primaries. After all thats where the primary injectors are. Those are the ports that do most of the work down low´(street). Just don´t go too wild on them because then it will lose port velocity and your bottom end will suffer. On my bridgeport porting the primaries smaller gave me a much nicer transition.

See, glad I asked. First off, the RB template comes with no primary port? I asked this question on rx7club and A good source said no to port the primary.
