Haven't posted pictures of any work in awhile and felt like doing so tonight. This motor was originally only going to be ported by me but wound up getting cleaned up and built as well over at my place. This is for Bruce Boulan's '87 FC that was in this past issue of RXTuner. Forgive me for the size of pictures as they weren't taken on my camera. Let me know what you guys think as I always welcome constructive criticism.

Those rotors look real nice. I'll take your advice on the Zep for future rebuilds. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png
What is the red on the irons during assembly? I've just spread motor oil on them, as the instructions in the manual suggested. It appears that you use something else? |

The "red" was Redline Assembly Lube which I ran out of during mid-rebuild. The other clear stuff is Eckerd's brand baby-fresh scented Vaseline aka petroleum jelly. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/cool.png https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683329.gif B |
