For a 1/2 Bridge using 13B-RE plates

Fd Rotorhousings are 80 more apiece than S5 housings, are they worth the price differential?

aren't the coolant passages bigger for FD?

I use S5 rotor housings in my FD motors. If there is a difference other than the water passage to the LIM that needs to be plugged, I couldn't tell you what it is. I have also used 1 S5 and 1 FD rotor housing in a motor. Wow, I'm a cheap bastard!

The S6 housings have a better wear coating, hence only 2 oil injectors for the S6 vs 4 for the S5.

Ah, but a little birdy told me that all new housings are made the same way with the same stuff. This actually makes sense to me. Why would you want to have to perform seperate process' on what is for the most part the same part.

Also the S6 oil injectors are bigger... flowing more oil so there is no need for four injectors.

mazda realized they dont need to use as much oil for lubricatign the engine that is why they dont use 4 injectors anymore, i am sure the 2 fd injectors still flwo more then 2 older injectors. but it still adds up to be less. i doutb teh wear surface has been changed, i am pretty sure all "newer" housings are made teh same as IGY mentioned. i think it was 84+ ?
