i might have one for you, but i woudl try to find that key, make sure u didnt drop that key into the engine whiel assembling it, bad things could happen otherwise

did u loose it while puttign on the oil pump, there are plenty of water passages that it could have fallen into.
what i did is i put the oil pump on then i put the key and then the sprocket on and it felt like it was in and i tight the nut and the sprcket didnt slip or nothing. i have to double check the old oil i pull off the engine to check is there

Get a magnet and run it all over the engine and on the ground - you might get lucky.

put your head down low to the ground as to have one ear down and look that way, you can see if somethign is sticking up much better https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png it helps a lot if you already not doing that

I know exactly how it feels, i was measuring the apex seal groove clearance with my new RA apex seals and i lost the small end of the seal. I spent fours hours looking for that dam thing. I ended up buying one apex seal.

Yep, that sucks. :(
