I'm wanting to make a "mathematically correct" tubular manifold for my upcoming 4port N/A 13B project. To do this, I'll need the port timing (or, duration to be more correct). The problem is... Mazdatrix doesn't even know the timing of their templates. WTF???

Would any engine builder who uses the mazdatrix templates (for a starting point or what not) happen to have this information? I need the port timing on their 86-93 4port templates, Secondairy and Primary. If anyone can help me out, I'd appreciate it. ~CE

if you are gona get them why not port the plates and then measure it yourself?

I wasn't sure which templates I was going to get. Also, I thought that it had seperate scribes for int and end housings. now that I know it doesn't... time to do some math. THX a lot guys ~CE

I do believe, atleast mine did, that the mazdatrix templates do have a primary port and a secondary port scribes. Mine did. Just FYI.

Yea, I found that out after making that post. Bought the template from an RX7Club member for $30 shipped.

Seeing as noone is willing to help me out, I'll just throw a degree wheel on it and find out myself.

Liquid - Did you check the link I posted? The info you want is at the bottom of the page.

Liquid Anarchy 01-05-2004 04:17 PM

Only half of the info I wanted is on that page. It gives the port timing of the secondairy ports... not the primary.

no offense but ive found the best way to find out stuff like this is to go back to the source materials and look at it myself, so if you have to put a degree wheel on it its prolly better
