What can I salvage most likely. I havent pulled it yet. Its a brand new motor so most of the seals should be good. I assume the front side housing is gone and maybe the front rotor, corner and the actual side seal.
Just looking for some guesses. |
How do you know it's the sideseal?
|
if you're lucky it damage anything else
|
you should try and *find* it. use a big magnet!

Pull the engine out and open it up. Just check the sideseals out and see if it is sticking or something. If so just reclearance the rotor, assemble the rotor and see if the sideseal springs back out. Check the tips of the sideseals closely.
BTW how long has the engine run so far? |
