The j-spec that I got had the CAS removed so I'm haveing to install one, and have never had to before.

I'm sure I could possibly refer to the workshop manual, but I'm curious if anyone here has any suggestions on how to make the job easier..... ANNNND

My wolf 3d ecu requires me to set the cas to 60 degrees BTDC. Any ideas on how to do that??

CAS= crank angle sensor right? On the front of the motor?

Why is there a special procedure its only 2 bolts right?

I've got some information in there that describes how to insert the CAS in:

- Align the yellow, 5ATDC marker on the main crank pulley straight-up with the timing marker on the front cover

- Remove the black cap off the CAS

- Align the drive gear for the CAS where the centre 'dimple' matches the notch on the CAS's aluminum casting

- While using your thumbs on the home and trigger points on top (to help keep the drive gear from turning), insert it.

Your home and trigger points should be around 2 o'clock and 8 o'clock respectively.
