Hi,

I am looking for technical information on the rotors of recent-ish Mazda engines. I have been looking on google for quite a while but couldn’t find much information and was hoping you could help me out. I’m especially interested in:

- dimensions: width of the rotor, distance from the centre to apex, bore for crankshaft and gears, bathtub dimensions and anything else really

- materials used: is the rotor made of aluminium or cast iron

- production techniques: is the rotor cast or forged etc,

I need the information for a school project on setting up a production line, and thought this might be a good opportunity to learn a bit more on the rotary engine. Since I am not so fortunate as to own a rotary Mazda I will be extremely grateful for any piece of information.

Thanks in advance!

Regards,

Cyril
