Hi

I pulled down a s4 block and whilst measuring all parts to check in spec i found around the ignition area the housings measure 80.00 - 79.80mm (spec 0.06mm max difference) has anyone else found this and can enlighten me why and if theres anyway to fix it. Housing chrome is mint so would be gutted to bin them

Thanks heaps

put a straight edge across the trichoid surface, they sag in the middle, which is why its a little narrow.

don't bin item, milled it to 70mm width and sell as 12A 's mod housing

If they have sagged as said above can they still be used? If i resized them to 70mm could i build a 12a with the s4 plates? The only problem i could think of machining them down is the chrome chipping, has anyone tried before?

Also the exhaust port wall would become very thin?
