I'm going to try to get a Fd this summer for a little under 10 and fix it up. For this amount I will most definetly have to get a rebuild. What I want to know is if when I get the car is it possible for me to go for a street ported rebuild if the car is bone stock?. Will I have to get any after market pieces in order for it to work properly?

I would greatly appreciate any advice. Thanks

you can, but its not really needed until you have some mods on it.

if the car you will get is nto drivable make sure u look over the interior, some times when u buy a car like that and then make it run u find mucho other problems, if that doesnt bother u then go ahead, but i think u can find a fd cheaper then that if its in non running condition. u pretty much get what u pay for for a few exceptions.

Yeah I got mine for 12, and it has a new engine, tranny, and it was street ported. I did have to drive cross country for it though. These cars are going to have problems unless you get lucky. I love working and learning on mine so it didn't matter to me. But if you dont have the time to work on yours then you might want to buy a toyota https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub..._DIR#>/sad.png

Thx for the advice. I want to just get the street porting done

when I have the rebuild so I don't have to bring the car in twice.

Yes I will gradually fix it up. It shouldn't really be a problem for

me to find one for just a little under ten. I want something that

needs some work, not a total overhaul situation.

Buy a toyota lol, funny guy Joe. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif

Not without some fuel delivery/control modification at the very least.
