I have searched a lot on this topic, and have not gotten a straight answer yet. Thanks to the people that have helped me before, but I am looking for someone with experience with this port and fuel setup. I am going to build my 87 TII engine, and I am going to go non turbo first to allow break in of the engine, and I can always add the turbo and such later on in a month or so when I have more money. What I am running is a full fuel system into a holley 650 double pumper (4150) and I want to maybe run a half-bridgeport, then run a turbo in another month or so. My question is is this going to be really hard to tune that holley for a half-bridge turbo? I know I can tune it for the half-bridge, but is it going to be too difficult when I add the turbo? If this is going to be too hard, I will stick with a large streetport per the Judge. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png This is all going in my gutted rx2. Thanks guys.

Check with Brian Cain (BDC)
He has good experience with Half Bridges and Turbo Setups. He tunes Haltechs for them as well... I believe His car has over 400 whp right now.... |

Yeah he is, but like I said, he tunes the standalones, I am using a holley. I asked him before, and I think I have a difficult setup.

direckfreak had a holley and a turbo on his 1st gen for a while, its possible. finding someone who knows how to tune a carb is the trick

I know a large streetport is all that I need, but I like to be different, I get so many people that I meet everyday that ask me so many questions about the rotary, I am trying to reel in a new crowd and corrupt their piston driven minds. I would like to wait for Ito's templates but I am impatient, and like I said, I like to do things out of the ordinary.

It all depends on how you set up the turbo to work with the car, you need to know if it will be a blow through design, or if you will be using a suction setup, different answers for each...

Check out this thread....
HERE Scroll down... The guy's form name is "barely street legal rotary12a" Maybe check with him, to see how he's doing with his setup... |
u dont necessarily have to check with rotary guys, u can try and find if there are any boards/webpages that have info on turboed cars using a holley carb. im sure there quiet a few out there. besides its all a matter of jetting, so ull prolly have a rich low end and a healthy top end. also check out your local barnes and nobles for books on holleys im sure they have a section on turbocharging them.
