Who has done the extrude hone on their intake? Will this only polish ? can I get a port enlargement. Sounds insecure doesnt it? But i know we can only enlarge the intake rams so deep before the bit is out of play.

Thanks

I think he wants to know if he can enlarge the intake runners on his manifold and will the Extrude Hone job polish it? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/dunno.gif

Almost....I know extrude polishes but will it port the intake runners? In other words we can only grind so far in the runner Iwas hoping that the process would enlarge the runners significantly enough if i ask them too.this would give an even enlargement through out the runners and the bends would not matter. It does little to enlarge before a restriction or afetr because only so much cfm will pass. uniformity is imparative so Id rather just blend

(match) connecting points then to hog out small sections.

I do believe that Jason from JT Import did his.

Look in the performance mods area under double throttle.

yeah, it can port all the way through your intake runners. let them know how material you want removed. they'll just use a rougher grit first for material removal, then a finer one to finish for polishing.
