Exhaust ports on my S4 6 port motor were bronzeish coloured when I pulled the exhaust manifold off. What do you guys think? Normal?

What other colourations are telltale signs of.. stuff?

yeah they are usually that color, if not almost white. black is bad

Huh?? Wouldn't White indicate a lean condition or misadjusted timing?? This is what I have always been told and it would stand to reason that increased heat from lean condition or fuel still burning in the exhaust would cause the diffusers and manifold to be a lighter color.

Is this a NA thing or am I way off base here?

Seems taht the rear rotor apex seals are a little weak and a side seal/corner seal is shot. BigT said he heard a weak chamber when we turned over the motor about a week ago or so.... I should have listened.

What do you think? Any relation?

It usually depends on what kinda gas you're running.

It's all the deposits that build-up over there.

Gas quality differs from area to area and from gas station to gas station.
