With the high octane and the cooling effect on the intake charge making 30-40psi boost on a rotary a reliable proposition I think the GT series of compressors will be the hot ticket since they are more efficient at these higher pressure ratios.

Higher compression rotors won't hurt either.

How will E85 affect EGTs? That could help us get into the VGT turbo scene as well...

I trust only those guys that've actually and successfully run their RE's on alcohol alone. I'm experimenting with methanol as a secondary injection system but not as a full-blown bit. Plus, I think the effective octane is much higher than 105.

i dunno about running a rotary on E85 but from my experience running it in a 600cc GSXR engine and what i have heard from an engine builder its not a very good race gas. its not that it doesnt work well, but as it stands the gas itself is not very consistent which leads to some big tunning issues. and the fact that you need to make sure your injectors, rails, whole fuel system wont get eaten away by it. i think the big car companies can make it work because they spend thousands on tuning for it.

at least thats what i have gotten outa my experience with E85. i think injecting methanol will be easier and more reliable.

We run straight alcohol on the starlet you just need lots of injectors https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png
