Is there any difference between the s4 and the s6 gasket kit?

I've heard that there is nothing different between non turbo s4 and turbo s4/5 gasket kits except the exhaust manifold gaskets.

You are correct in the s4/s5 turbo/nonturbo



I am using a s4 non-turbo gasket set on my s5 t2 rebuild. Just have to grab a couple of different intake gaskets( lim/engine lim/uim).



If you put an s4 n/a gasket kit on a s6 motor you would probably just need a different front cover/waterpump gasket. You would ofcourse skip the oil pan gasket. The rest should work, as the interals are basically the same.

Or you could just get water seals/front rear stationary seals, and the odd and ends. I wonder if anyone has done that before? Maybe we should try to assemble a list of mazda parts for a rebuild kit that excludes all external gaskets....
