Where and why did you guys get a 1st gen motor?

Owner has 3 of them. We are installing a wolf for him and eventually porting the engines to try some different hp ideas. Its just kind of interesting to look at the changes mazda went through on the 6 port engines from 85 - s4 - s5 na's
