Is it ok to use white spirits or somethimg like that ?? Thanks |
Take the goodies to a shop with a parts cleaner and ask them how much to run it in thiers a few times.

I use kerosene. Use a wire brush on the heavy deposits, a nylon brush works fine on the lighter deposits.

Dont use paint stripper, it wont work as good as a solvent, and its very nasty stuff to work with. Chemical burns if you get it on your skin, and theres always a chance it could damage some parts. Kerosene works great, and its cheaper than paint stripper. |
