I can't seem to find the answer to my question, which is... Can one grind out a 6port front or rear plate to be just one big port?

From what I can see, the two inlets can be ground to one port. But what im worried about is the bridge between the secondary and auxillary ports. Will the side seal have enough surface area? My buddy says the it might collaps if we port it out.

thats about it. thanks

It can be done. Ive got a set of irons I ported that way(but never got around to using).

I wouldnt do it for a n/a motor. The extra port/runner area isnt necessary, or even useful for 99% of n/a cars out there. A turbo could take more advantage of it, but just how much is something I cant answer.

Paul Yaw has built an EP like that.

Mazdatrix built their EP car that way as well, ton on overlap though, Dave spins that motor up to 10K, that would take a lot of $$$ to build a motor that would handle that much RPM and no come apart.
