https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/dunno.gif Well im just wondering what type of apex seals i should run if i do use the greddy T78 turbo kit and running about 20lbs of boost or higher? What do you guys recommend, and also springs? And what company should i go with in order to get my moneys worth? I need something that will hold and not fail on me. If anyone can give me any feedbacks that would be great. Thanks!

The stock seals work fine and will hold up just fine way past 20psi. If you are rebuilding a motor the hurley 2 piece race seals are nice. They have heavy duty springs and the 2 piece design helps with rotor warpage that can occur using stock 3 piece seals over time. If you rotors are warped in the groove where the seals sit, then have them milled and use 3mm hurley race seals.

Hurleys used to be the way to go, but lately they have been failing ALOT. KD Rotary won't even use them anymore. I have factory 3mm seals in my motor.

What is failing though? Bad tuning or the seals breaking for no reason? I've always heard bad stories about hurley 3mm or any 3mm for that matter because if they aren't matched just right they will break loose.
