Wondering if anyone has stories or experience of high compression n/a rotors. Mainly the s4 9.4:1 rotors.
Was thinking of doing this if I move back east where I can get 93 octane daily. Anything at all other than stupid hearsay would be appreciated! Thanks, Ben Martin |
how much power are you lookign for?
i have realized, i ask this quastion every other post https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png |
well, im running pretty much bone stock s4 t2 except for dp right now
i have fd fuel pump, hks fcon and rb presilencer, but thats for this motor. no highcomp for stock ecu! or at least not w/ any real power I was thinking 60-1 and over 300rwhp on pump. but thats a long ways from now |
the compression depends a lot on how much boost you want to run, and what power goals you have, and a BIGEST part is how its tuned.

take one for the team and get some renesis rotors. see how far you can get with those...

i wish it ran...

for 300rwhp, i dont see a need for higher comp rotors?
|
my buddy used the 9.7:1 compression rotors on a bridgeport with a t66.
budget limitations are holding ti to about 8psi for now, but it's got AWESOME low end!!! the high compression rotors really seem to like the 4-port motors. i'll be using them in the cosmo 13b that's going in my fd. |
i THINK voskos old fd (god rest its soul) had either 9.5 or 10 :1 and ran on street gas (93)
find out when you move back here if the area you will live in will have a gas station that sells cam2 100 or sunoco GT 104. 2 sunocos within walking distance of my new place sell gt104 at a pump. |
