Guys, I recently bought a 13BRE motor from an "online" company for about $1500, claiming it came from a running vehicle. When we received the motor and opened it up, I almost went ballistic! The front plate, rotor, rotor housing, middle plate and e-shaft were all damaged from oil starvation! Now, I'm in a bind and was wondering if there were anyone in this forum that had a useable core for a resonable price? I would need it shipped to Oregon. I appreciate ALL the help fellas.

Thanks,

Jim Kelly

what did the company that sold it to you say?

They said what anyother poor customer service company would say, "Sorry, we can't help you."

Give dave at fc3s.org a call. He is a great guy that will make sure you get a good engine. I ordered a 13B-RE from him and it came in with water in the rear combustion chamber from washing it I'm assuming. Not a HUGE problem if it was warm outside but I live in MN and that water was frozen. Frozen water= broken parts= very low compression. I let him know about it and he had another engine waiting for me at the loading dock by the end of that week!! Now thats customer service! I payed ~1500-1600 for mine 1.5 years ago.

Good luck
