13b pp in rx8

Ok if just pulled down my rx8 block and the housings have bad chrome wear.i have parts available i can use but just wana know if it would work.
I have a pair of 13b rx4/5style housings, pair of same rotors and front and rear counterwieghts.
What i wana do is block off the renesis side ports and exhaust ports and use my pp housings and rotors. I want my rx8 to be a street weapon.not just a restricted 4port renesis.
I wana use the renesis endplates so i dont have to change the mounting of the block.
I will have to use the older style front cover so i can use the 13b front counterwieght..
I just wana know if they will mate up alright

Thanks and would love to hear some advice

So long as your housings have the water "o" rings in them, from everything I've read, you should be good. Why not have the assembly balanced with the rx-8's counterweights? That way no front cover change.

Yeah i didnt want to use front cover because of ignition .or can i use rx8 ignition. I have the rx8 rotors too that i thort bout using.
But heres another question.
Ive been looking at atkins rotor kits for rx8. And they seem to come all in one size like solid
Corner seals and side seals.i suppose the side seal length wouldnt matter cos not using side
Exhaust of rx8.can i run the standard rx8 seals with fb housings or do the rotors need to be machined. Im still keen to use my gsle rotors but i have rx8 ones too

Again, just from what I've read, you can use rx-8 rotors in earlier housings, it seems you would want to have them machined for at least 2mm apex seals though especially for a peripheral port. The side seals SHOULD be "too long" and are designed to be cut for individual fitting, you'll need them regardless of port. The rx-8 rotors are the lightest from Mazda, but you could certainly use the fb units.
