6 Port Turbo

Hey guys. This is my first post on this forum, so be nice :friday:

There is some well versed Engine builders on here, so if possible, im looking for some info on an engine setup that im planning to build for my 2013 race season. Any info is greatly appreciated. Ill be building the engine myself.

Here is the planned setup.

S4 6 Port Housings
S4 NA Rotors, fully clearanced, MFR Bearings, REC seals.
S6 Stationarys
Shimmed Front Reg, RB rear reg.
S4 TII intake manifold, throttle body.
Custom Made, Long runner manifold and 50mm Gate.
Holset HX40, 7 Blade, 19cm divided Turbine Housing, May go 21cm, 4" VBand
All other Cooling and heat exchanger upgrades have been done.

My target power delivery is to have it come on Heavy at about 3500 give or take a little. My Concern is Port Velocity On a 6 port plate running no rotary valves. There is that Flat Dead End wall in the 5th and 6 port that needs to be cleaned up and flowed better. Im not sure if ill use a S4 turbo center plate with a heavy street, or a S4 NA with a Steet, all depends what would be better for power delivery. So here is what im looking to do port wise.

Open up the leading edge early on all ports, Take the casting edges off the rest, nothing crazy. My biggest focus will be Flowing the 5 and 6th port. In the actual port runner, ill just be slightly cleaning it up, as I don't want port velocity to go out the window. Im thinking of putting an anti-reversion lip on the Intake manifold>plate mating surface.

I know many people will say just use a damn 4 port, but the Port area to Overlap ratio on the 6 port has me intrigued and I think I could make it work. So im looking for any info on similar setups if possible. Please keep in mind, that this is not really a street car (its Registered) but primarily My Drift car that see's some Lapping days through my work.

Thanks for reading my rant.

Cheers.
