so my buddy took an onramp from one highway to another today. fun, after the fact. luckaly, i trust him, and when a '92 saturn is almost sideways at 90, trust is key. anyway, ya, im done.

i wouldnt question the trust u have for your friend https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...>/rolleyes.gif but i would trust the saturn just about as far as i could pick one up and throw it.

it wasent a super crazy corner or anything, and there wernt any cars around. worst it woulda done is fliped, rolled, blew-up, or somethin like that. so just the two of us wouldove died. nothin bad. ...just kidding., id be pissed.

oh....FF Saturn...great. what? sideways?

CGeek2k 04-12-2004 09:48 PM

My first car was a Saturn coupe. I definately wouldnt try drifting it but Saturns are safe cars. I totalled mine into a guardrail at an estimated speed of about 95 mph. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...O_DIR#>/11.gif I walked away without a scratch. The car took out about 30 ft of the guardrail and broke off 4 of the 6"x10" wooden posts that hold it in the ground.

I know a kid who accidentally oversteered his SC quite badly on an off-ramp and easily recovered it with pretty much a complete lack of driving skill. Maybe they'll be the next AE86.
