Hey, here are some pics of me at my first drift event. Nothing major, just a small thing after a local auto-x. There was just me, a supercharged miata, sr20det powered 240sx, subaru sti, and a couple old camaros. It was pretty fun but i need some more power.
mods: rebuilt motor w/ 13k on the clock, custim headder and exhaust, free to me hks foam air filter, e-fan, tien springs and kyb agx shocks, and front strut brace. Still have an open diff but some really bald tires at 60psi helped that problem. I also killed the tranny that day on my last run, broke the 1st/2nd gear shift fork. http://usera.imagecave.com/driftmunk...azdadrift1.jpg http://usera.imagecave.com/driftmunk...azdadrift2.jpg http://usera.imagecave.com/driftmunk...g/stismall.jpg http://usera.imagecave.com/driftmunk...amerosmall.jpg |

You rock! I never see rotaries drifting! I am trying to get into it myself but everything costs money and I don’t want to put that much stress on my car. Sorry about your tranny https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub..._DIR#>/sad.gif Hope you can get it repaired and get back out on the track! Keep us posted!

Is it stock? |
the auto-x club here is actually pretty cool about drifting, it was only $10 for quite a bit of track time, and we got to make our own layout on it. as for the tranny i have another one to go in but i havnt had the time with work and my other project, an 84 toyota 4wd i want running before it snows. and the suspension isnt quite stock, i have tien s-tech springs and kyb agx struts, i have a couple pics of it almost lifting a tire when it was stock.

yea, i did the clutch that way not too long ago, its really easy. I did manage to get it fixed tho before it started snowing tonight. I just wish the work im doing on my toyota would go that fast...
