I post this here because none of you look in the AutoX section.



There were 4 FC's at the AutoX this past weekend. 2 TII's - Matts GXL and a 90 GTU.



Matt (my brother) ran for his 1st time in C-Streep Prepared and had his work cut out for him. There is a very fast Toyota Mr. 2 in that class and the dude has been Autocrossing for a long time. Matt got within within 2 seconds of him but couldn't beat him. Thats o.k. though matt has street tires and no camber (yet!).



Matt took 2nd in C-SP and took home a trophy.





I ran in A-SP and was fighting with a Viper all day. My 1st run was my fastest of the class (37.07) until the 3rd heat when the Viper ran a 37.05 I ran a 35.99 but hit 3 cones after the finish.



I went out on the 4th run and ran a very clean 36.25 to the Vipers best of the day 36.47.



I got 1st in ASP. I really wanted this win because I will only be running in A-sp for one more event then I am moving up to B- Prepared a faster class. Matt will be co-driving with me in our new RX-7. Pics soon.



Funny side note:



The dude parked next to me in the pits had a late model mustang with decals in the front and rear windows that said "IMPORTS SUCK!"

He was looking at my car before we got started and smirked at it like it was just a pathetic ricer. I changed his smirk to looks of disbelief and disdain. Especially since he couldnt get within 10 seconds of my raw times. He was referred to as the "Import Hater" all day long and the announcer seemed to take great delight when he went off course on his second run. I wonder if he still thinks that imports suck???

LOL...I guess he should change the sticker to say imports DON'T suck!

The GTU took 1st in his class I think c-stock and the other TII was a novice that has a lot to learn about driving hard. He has a good car just needs to learn how to push it.
