Hey everyone https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.gif

I dig my FD way to much to go drift it. At first i was going to get a 240 but if possible I would like to keep it rotary. I was thinking of getting an FC. Who else drifts in here? How well would a TII hold up against all those high revs? I dont have much money and I would love some advice https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/happy.gif

fc's are the **** just get ridd of the rearsteer and make sure you have an lsd and your set

if you want to have a really easy time drifting go for a 240, and throw a stock lsd on it. (the most common are viscous)

if you want to spend the time and money on something, get an fc.

with an fc you should get an s4 t2 (the clutch type from the s4 is far superior than the viscous in the s5 lsd). then you have to get the dtss remover bushings (which is by far the worst install for any mod that i have ever done). also you have to worry about up keep on the 7, which is alot more than you would have to do with the 240.

if you want to go beyond just having fun, and start to actually modify the car for drifting then the 240 is the easier way to go in that sense too. everyone and their mom makes parts for them while the rx7 there are only a few places that offer the parts we need.

Everyone has a 240 for drifting.... Get an FC. You'd gain like +100 extra cool points for having both FC and FD anyway. As where a 240 and FD would only give you like +15 points (for the having of two fun cars).

:-D

i've drifted FC's they are much harder to learn on but damn are they fun when you can do it

PS EARL BLOWS GOATS

UnNatural 02-22-2007 12:27 PM

Why is that though? Because of the toe steer?

PS. I heard the same thing about Earl. :-O

engine placement, rear toe steer, weak stock steering angle, bladah bladah blah...

I can agree with most of the stuffs that's on there.
