If I told you I accidentally got a 92 subaru justy sideways would you believe me? (sadly I do have a witness to that... strangely he never drove with me again...) anyway... then... what should I do? I know.. t2 that is DEFINITELY going to happen... what else do I need to get there...

go out and try it. see if you like it. the biggest hurdle is the no tq thing. then the no steering angle. its going to be a rough up hill battle. but if you are up to the challenge go for it

I think the biggest problem is lack of power. Put the car on a diet for real. Modify the throttle body and everything for power and then get the diff up to par. For a beginner there is NO reason to worry about the steering angle.



Just go out and try it and see what happens and go from there.

i drift a 86 NA. you can drift but you cant stay side ways because it doesn't have much power.

Yah but a ae86 is totally different, but some of the same principles apply. You must maintain a higher entry speed in order to maintain the speed for the exit of the turn.



You can drift NA it is just not gonna be as fast or smoky as turbo, but if you are just beginning thats not gonna be an issue anyway.

Hey Ranzo i think he Ryo meant that he drifts an 86 rx7 NA. But i second the need for almost lethal amounts of entry speed along with a real stiff rear end to keep the wheels spinning longer.
