I've had a bad night.

About 9:30pm I decided to go for a little thrash at my normal drift spot, this newly developed area of land. (100% visibility, no houses, wide roads, no people).

Anyway, there's this mint corner where you have to do a sorta faint drift to get enough pull to take you to the outer corner and I was coming into it at about 70kmph when I noticed 2 security guards sitting at their cars across the road.

Anyway, this one guy runs over towards my car as I'm pulling through the corner and throes his maglite torch right at the windscreen (right at my head) and busts the **** out of it.

Its not like a well known drift spot or anything, its just my local area. Boy I was pissed off. It cost me $315AUD to get it replaced.

vosko 10-01-2003 11:09 AM

i would have gotten out. stopped and beat the **** out of the guy. really who throws a flashlight!

i.didnt.do.it 10-01-2003 11:10 AM

Shoulda turned around and ran his ass over...

Baldy 10-01-2003 11:24 AM

stop, get out. pick up flashlight. throw at security guard's head, "here, you dropped this!"

Travisty 10-01-2003 11:44 AM

what an *******.

seriously you shoulda stopped and grabbed the maglight then proceed to beat the living piss out of the guy with it.

rfreeman27 10-01-2003 11:45 AM

Wow. Thats really gay.

Good thing the security guards are never around where I drift, and the truckers like watchin it https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

GarageBoy 10-01-2003 03:22 PM

70kph, isn't that around 30mph, at most?

UniqueTII 10-01-2003 03:39 PM

Hey, free flashlight.

rfreeman27 10-01-2003 03:45 PM

Was it in your lancer?

MonsterMR2 10-01-2003 03:52 PM

Now that's just plain rude, rent-a-cop ****'s up my car like that, he don't walk any more.

Ranzo 10-01-2003 06:35 PM

Yeah I would have beaten his ass without doubt....... Good thing Japanese security guards don't do **** like that. What you gotta look out for in Japan is guys who drive a nissan march...lol (in this case) or some other normal ass car who hang out at drift spots and annoy the hell out of you then suddenly the cops show up.

There is a guy who I think don't like foriegners and every time we show up and this ******* is there the police amazingly show up.

Anyway.......lots of bad things happen on the street, I have been in fistfights.....I hit a guard rail at 140KMH https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683358.gif ran an old man almost into a curb Blew three engines and one turbine......those things always seem to happen when you are at least a 3hour drive from home!!!.......OH yeah and my ebrake failed one time when parked on the street helping my friend who hit a guard rail and my car started backing down the road over the curb and into the woods........lol I looked pretty stupid chasing my car down the road!!! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683664.gif

MonsterMR2 10-01-2003 06:53 PM

Tokyo.... Aah, car/girl/food heaven..

yep, FF drift.

I'm spewing cos its my favourite course, I drive it 2wice a day, once to work and back again in the arvo, so I know it really well. I wasn't even pushing it that hard, i was just out for a bit of fun.

There was 2 security guards, so I was a bit outnumbered.

It would have been nice to beat the crap out of him, but I wasn't thinking about anything other than getting the **** out of the area.

MazdaMike 10-01-2003 08:14 PM

sucks to hear that, i get a guilty rush when doing testosterone related activities in my car like i look like an irresponsable *******, but half the time i am an irresponsable ******* so i shrug it off and keep on truckin. security guard thing does piss me off i wouldnt stop in my car but id prolly get some friends together and brick the **** outta their security hut later that night or shoot em up (paintball guns nutten that would leave a mark over 3 days https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR)

sucks to hear bout ur windsheild (windscreen to u blokes down under i guess) over here i got insurance for my truck and the rx for all cracks and stuff like that on windsheilds. they same right to my house last time and replaced it in my driveway for free (well the bi-monthly payment)

rmaiersg 10-02-2003 11:58 AM

At least he didn't get the body of the car. I do believe 70 kmph is just under 45 mph.

drifter 10-02-2003 07:52 PM

It seems like I'll be getting the money back for the windscreen on insurance, so thats ok. I'm gonna call the cops and see if I can get this dude at least fired. Maybe charged with assualt or something. I mean seriously, if my windscreen had of shattered, I could be dead.

These vigilante rent-a-cops need to be put back in their place.

rotary rebel 10-05-2003 01:24 AM

thank god they dont carry guns cause he prolly would have fired at you.

That's going a bit far. Even for a degenerate rent-a-cop.

AYB 10-06-2003 05:27 AM

Call the security company. Most security companies know where their guards are at all times... A security guard has no right to take things in their own hands you have pictures of your car... Report it to them. Have the security company reimburse you for the damages.. at that point the guard should be fired for his actions.

mazdized 10-08-2003 03:38 AM

If it was in the U.S. you have a good law suit going.

DJ Blu 10-10-2003 05:15 PM

i'm sorry... that sux. honestly, i would have stopped, and gotten out, grabbed the flashlight, and kept it.

Mazderati 10-10-2003 05:22 PM

Stop! Or I'll shine you!

wile_e_coyote 10-10-2003 05:45 PM

Sue the bastard. If what you've said is true, you've got a good case. At the very least, small claims court will get you some money back for your windshield.

However, you may also be slapped with some "imprudent driving" tickets and all that jazz too. If you were on a public road, then yeah, the guy did something stupid, but you're also doing some illegal stuff too, right?

Midnightdriver 10-14-2003 07:43 PM

https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png I love my conciel/carry permit... and I really love it when a rent-a-cop tries to run us off some place where he has no duty to watch... its great when they come over to the car and see a .45 on the seat... some get pissy and call cops some just turn around and walk away...when the cops come they just check my permit and leave me alone...you still should have stopped and gotten yourself a free flashlight...but I'd still report him..find out if the place you were playing around was public road or not...if it was sue his ass..or report him to company and get his $5.25 and hour ass fired...

boxrs4sale 10-15-2003 11:58 AM

burn the security hut down... BWAHAHA !! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683517.gif

vosko 10-15-2003 01:22 PM

i only **** around on the street going in straight lines... once you start doing burnouts and turning bad things happen https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif

I cannot even begin to believe the disregard you hold against the purpose of your CCP. An automatic is not a toy. I don't see what gratification you receive from displaying a handgun so openly in your car. A gun is a weapon of death that should be treated with the utmost respect, not shown off in public for arguable leverage. I'm just hoping to the high Heavens right now that a_ there is a manual safety on your .45 that is locked b_ you don't have ammunition readily loaded in the magazine and c_ you certainly don't have a round chambered...

Midnightdriver 10-15-2003 10:37 PM

you bet I carried it loaded..after someone tries to car jack you you'll think twice about it.. and I don't flaunt it...when I'm driving I put in the seat..why ever try to drive with a .45 up your ass?? I don't suggest it... kind of hurts...and I'm very well aware of rules of having them...and I obey them..but I sure do pity the next poor fucker sticking hes head in my window trying to take something from me. and a firearm is NEVER a toy so never assume I take it as one. All guns have a safety.. I prefer the .45 because it has 2 safe devices...oh yes I never walk around showing my weapon that would get my permit revolked..however having it in your front seat while driving or parked and sitting in your car is alright.. you make it sound like I walk around the street waving it around. I just said its great when they see it the reaction is funny... happy now 2ndgenY... and remember criminals prefer unarmed victums

rmaiersg 10-16-2003 08:02 AM

I hope you realize that it is not legal to shoot someone in the face, even if they try to jack your car. Where do you live that one commonly gets jacked anywho?

boxrs4sale 10-16-2003 11:41 AM

Get a ******* stun gun or pepper spray smart ass..Thats why they make that stuff.. If you can't shoot someone legally, just zap em' or spray them.. very quick.. much much safer.. very effective.. and you won't be at fault for anything. If you go shooting someone for trying to jack your car, your sure to have a lawsuit just waiting at your door. Instead of running around with a loaded gun on your seat telling others to "back off".. yeah ok.. your a smart guy..

phinsup 10-16-2003 03:02 PM

I don't know about AUS, but here he would have been buying your ass a enw windshield.

2ndGenerationY 10-16-2003 09:14 PM

Hey guys, lighten up. He's got enough of an understanding to actually have a concealed carry permit. I think he can grasp that assault with a deadly weapon is not a positive thing.

drifter 10-17-2003 02:13 AM

hmm, found out my insurance won't cover it for free, cos I only have a 40% no claim bonus, not 50%. stupid insurance companies.

I haven't been back to double-check which company it is yet, been too busy.

We are starting to get like the US with lawsuits and ****. Not sure if its a good thing, theres a fine line between taking responsibility for your own actions and blaming someone else for them.

Still, no excuse for smashing my windscreen, thats not lawful.

1Revvin7 10-20-2003 04:11 PM

That sucks, should have had glass coverage!

7th Heaven 10-21-2003 06:36 PM

There is no end to the stupidity of rent-a-cops. What if that light had hit you and you died? Idiots.
