go 6puck if you drive like me I am just wondering if there are people in the 400RWHP range using a SS and not having problems. It seems like it is holding up good for some here so that is promising. |
Yes Jim, I am not like the terminator, but I do beat on my car. No 7k drops here, but I get hard launches, smooth engagment, and no slipping problems. The setup is 3 years old, and about 20k miles of abuse. Also on a sidenote, I am using the SR lightweight flywheel

Vosko - I am currently running an Act Extreme PP and a custom sprung 6 puck. Yes, it grabs hard. But it is so harsh. I do not do 7K RPM clutch dumps and I do not drag race. When I autocross ot is important to get off the line fast. But I feel like this car could be better behaved w/ a street strip clutch instead. We installed the 6 puck in fear of a SS not holding up to the power of the engine.

what about the racing beat disc with the extreme PP?
|
I have it. Grabs good like everyone said. I also have a Pineapple sprung 6 puck for when I break the street/strip disk
