I was wondering what type of modifacations, aftermarket parts you can make/do to a 1982 rx-7? If someone could please tell me I would really apreciate it. Thanks

You can port the engine, full exhaust, light weight flywheel, Reduce the cars weight. Check out RX7.com

Depends on how much money you want to spend. As stated, you can port the engine, headers and performance exhaust, aftermarket carbs, MSD ignition, lighten flywheel, Centerforce clutch. You get the idea. Check Mazdatrix or Racing Beat for lists of parts and prices.

If your just starting out, get an aftermarket exhaust with header. The difference is night and day.

I would think a diet and an exhaust would make for a noticable difference. Ingition would help!

Fully open the exhaust, and buy a big ass carb. Problem solved.
