I'm getting my walbro 255 lph high pressure pump this week. I was wondering if anyone has done this install. How hard is it? Anything special I should know? Do I need a fuel pressure regulator?

Leave the car running and unplug the fuel pump. That will help relieve the pressure in the fuel lines. Then you can install the pump. You may have to prime the fuel system after you finish so that the car starts easily.

OK, I did this a couple of weeks ago but I'm gonna post this anyhow.

The actual install was a snap took me all of 20 min..

:bigok: Cool. Are you running a pressure gauge? Regulator?

Does the car run any different?

I can definitely tell a difference in the overall sound of the engine... more powerful. But I also had an NA fuel pump in before... I never drove the car with the NA FP, to avoid blowing my engine. The new fuel pump is super quiet too.. no discernible noise anyways.

I'm not running a pressure gauge or an fpr.... and you can tell from the way my car sucks gas at idle, but I have lots of tuning issues to take care of first. After my car is tuned correctly it might correct some of the problem.
