Hey peoples!
Here's my dilemma: while testing a new Walbro 255 for operation (touching leads to battery terminals) for maybe 10 sec's, it begins to get a bit warm (not too hot to handle, just warm). Is this normal and how warm is safe https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...R#>/unsure.png ? Knowledge me... Props in advance!!! n2mb |
Are you putting fuel through it or just air?
I would think running air through it wouldnt be good? |
Just running air through it... checking it for noises, retarded vibrations and such.

Fuel is the cooling medium for a fuel pump. The heat generated is normal but you should avoid running the pump in the manner you did for any lenght of time.

Thanks for the input. Much appreciated.
